Reporting to the Supply Chain Director France Iberia, you will ensure that the logistics operations deliver the best possible customer service while optimizing the associated financial equation. You will constantly seek solutions to improve the performance of the service provided at the best cost for the company. Your analytical and leadership skills to manage your providers are critical to success in this position.

OUR PROPOSAL :_**
- Contract : CDI
- Profile: Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain
- Experience : Proven experience (min 3-5 years) of physical logistics &/or FMCG Supply Chain. A managerial experience would be a plus.
- Required tools: Excel, SAP, Business Warehouse
- Language: French and English required

**Frequent Contacts***:Supply Chain teams, 3PL & Logistics Service Providers, Sales Teams, Commercial Finance, Customers.

**Key Dimensions***:Management and development of 3rd party Freight, Warehousing & Distribution network to support a European business across multiple Supply Chains, all brands, multiple temperature channels. Budget responsibility.

**Key Objectives**:
The key objective of the role is to enable improved service and cost performance through Europe’s physical Logistics operations. This will be achieved by providing operational management of key 3PL & Logistics service providers across all temperature states ensuring that quality, safety, legal, service & cost targets are met.

YOUR MISSIONS :_**
- Leader of operational physical Logistics function & escalation point across EU (exclusive of UK operations)
- Lead for EU Logistics tenders
- EU broker contract lead
- EU pallet provider contract management
- Management of French 3PL providers - closely monitor & manage (service and cost) performance ensuring compliance to agreed operating, financial, quality, safety and legal standards. This will include full KPI reporting, capacity forecasting and regular review meetings
- Be Single Point of Contact for the Haagen Dazs 3PL, co-ordinating Logistics activity for the plant, EU markets & International shipments
- Key participant at senior ‘Top-to-top’ meetings with critical partners ensuring strategic, long-term alignment on shared goals.
- Ensure standardised 3PL reporting across EUAU designed to identify service improvement & cost reduction initiatives.

**Process**:

- Logistics process lead - ensure all current Logistics processes are fit for purpose whilst identifying & executing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive zero loss culture within Logistics function - evaluating, recommending and executing the end-to-end Logistics network and beyond to ensure operationally efficient and fit for purpose.
- Develop Logistics Cost-to-serve mentality to drive business recommendations on cost efficiencies.
- Support construction of the annual Logistics budget & subsequent operational delivery vs target.
- Own month end accrual & reporting processes, month end budget sign off process.

**People***:

- Provide leadership and development to the France operational Logistics team to ensure correct resourcing, training, & development.
- Play active role in France/Iberia Supply Chain Management Team & EU Logistics Leadership group

- Understanding of 3PL business environment - commercial environment, operating culture.
- Experience of 3PL management - KPI’s, review meetings, issues management, performance management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal & influencing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills & line management experience.
- Commercially astute and demonstrated record of strategic thinking; Industry awareness;
- Numerical - any previous budgeting skills will be an advantage
- Understanding of what drives cost in a supply chain.
- Retail exposure an advantage
- Broad thinking - ability to think beyond own area of responsibility.
- Adaptability - ability to switch from day to day issues management to strategic thinking, ability to understand/adjust to the world of 3pls and corporate HO.
- Excellent analytical skills. Previous experience of reporting and analyzing costs
