**Job Description**:
**AECOM** France is currently looking for a pragmatic and venturesome Project and Bid Director to join our Paris team. As a Project and Bid Director your role is to support the growth of the infrastructure sector by leading business development activities and project delivery. Through a clear vision and excellent knowledge of the French market you are capable of drawing up a strategic plan and actively expanding our client portfolio.

Important aspects of the position are to:

- Generate new business through networking, marketing initiatives and develop long-term business relationships;
- Represent AECOM with potential clients, government agencies, potential and current partners and competitors
- Advise on any trends and developments in the construction market in France
- Own and lead a healthy pipeline of infrastructure related projects in France
- Act as seller-doer; full ultimate responsibility for the project on site / delivery
- Set up project strategy including procurement routes, programme, construction logistics, design approach
- Maintain client relationships
- Direct management of project team once a project is awarded to AECOM
- Manage resource planning process to deliver to client expectations while meeting and/or exceeding profitability targets;
- Monitor financial performance of these projects in line with AECOM financial reporting, project reviews and other mandatory requirements.
- Administer AECOM contracts and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Monitor project team performance and take corrective action as required
- Support other AECOM Business Lines in France or outside France as required

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor or Master’s degree (engineering, construction, business management) combined with 15-20 years of relevant working experience is required as well as good knowledge of engineering and international experience
- Several years’ experience in a Project or Design Management role with a main contractor or engineering firm
- Fluency in French and English

**Preferred Qualifications**
- International experience is an asset
- Experience with leading Design build / EPC / EPCM contracts is an asset
- Management degree is a plus
