- Plastics: With new technology trends, our plastic additives can be experienced in many everyday items including vinyl, blow-molding bottles, film, rigid containers, PVC plastics, siding, decks and rails, foam pipes and profile formulations, window frames and high-efficiency lubricants.

**About you**

As **Site leader **you will have the responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel and achievement of site goals. In this role you will deliver plant based business and administrative leadership to an empowered, work process driven, plant organization which typically includes professional individual contributor and operations support employees. You typically have oversight of a smaller site with limited levels of complexity. As a leader, you foster a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement and empowerment.

**Also, you will work on each of the following tasks**:

- Ensures success of all operational excellence elements of site operations including providing the strategic leadership necessary for successful long term operation of site facilities. The site leader represents Dow locally.
- Ensures the plant is meeting the operational requirements of Dow’s businesses and continuously improving. This includes environmental, health and safety, product delivery, quality and operating the plant to meet customers’ needs.
- Maintains site compliance with all internal and external regulations.
- Engages established leveraged site services to achieve plant success.
- Provides a sustainable, highly-trained operational work force including contractors.
- Balances short-term priorities with long-term needs of the site and the business on site.
- Meets the annual expense budget for the plant as set by the function and business.
- Develops and maintains relationships with the appropriate business and functional leaders to ensure that the needs of the business are understood and communicated to the site.
- Maintains Dow’s license to operate by developing and maintaining strong relationships with community, state/provincial and federal political and regulatory leaders.

**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree plus engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- French language skills required due to site location, along with English.
