In July 2022, we launched our
**Pocket Champs** game worldwide which quickly became one of the top-grossing games in its category.
- We have been growing very quickly in terms of user base but also in terms of code base. We are publishing frequent updates of our games to continuously provide our players with new features. However, as the game grows so do the stakes of making sure every release we make is safe to release to production.

That’s why, today, we are looking for a QA Manager to bring our QA practice and release processes to new heights. We need to catch up the growth we had in our product in our QA department.

**Your journey at Madbox as a QA Manager**
- Meet the QA team, understand their dynamic and how you can help them grow.
- Meet the other managers in production that you would work closely with to ensure the quality of our games.
- Learn about our current QA process and make sure it is followed properly.
- Move to auditing this process and identifying its flaws.
- Finally you will start designing improvements to our processes and more generally improvements to our QA department to make it safer to release updates to production.

**Responsibilities & Scope**
- Ensure _
**_maximum quality_**:

- on every games to deliver the best User Experience to our players :_
- Lead the tests on our games to cover all areas and features and record issues in a database
- Check the current KPIs to track the game quality across versions and expand these KPIs to improve our processes
- Follow-up on bugs to ensure their status are updated

**_
Coordinate_**:

- the work around the games quality :_
- Establish the documentation and workflow and take part in the prioritization process to make sure deadlines are respected
- Communicate with the production team and the Game Manager to help drive the quality effort
- Manage the third parties and collaborate directly with your peers in the QA Team in Paris or Barcelona
- Align with all the different departments and give the “go” from the QA department when making a new version release

- Grow the hard skills of the team
- Help the intermediate / senior QA testers (2) grow their skills in managing more junior testers (2).
- Define the guidelines and processes of the team
- Keep **raising the bar** of our QA standards
- Learn from every failure to challenge our testing process and make it more robust
- Expand the tools and methods used by the team to become more efficient, potentially through the use of test automation
- Structure the team and maintain a high talent density
