We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Product Development Power Stacks to join the Global R&D team in Semikron-Danfoss in our French location in **Sartrouville, near Paris**. In this job, you will be accountable for global Research & Development of power electronics stacks within the Division Solutions reporting to the Head of Product Development Solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
In your role, you will:

- Lead and manage the global Stacks Development department with engineering teams in France, Germany and India, ensuring efficient product development from project acquisition to serial production with subsequent serial production support & product maintenance.
- Take responsibility for the development, testing, and qualification of power electronics stacks, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations (esp. UL-norms).
- Drive continuous improvement through R&D, generating technology roadmaps and intellectual property to create competitive product advantages.
- Conduct design to production costs down measures together with the production teams

**Background & Skills**:

- Master’s degree in engineering focussing on power electronics or equivalent
- Ideally relevant industry experience from wind power, solar, battery storage or another related field
- Global mindset and experience with matrix organizations
- Business fluent English skills, French is a plus
- Travel will take up to 25-30% of time
