**Raw Materials Buyer (M/F)**
Reporting to the Purchasing Department, your main responsibilities will be:
**1) Purchasing Activity Management**:
- Lead calls for tenders in the raw materials category and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure the quality, lead time, and cost of products, in compliance with the required specifications, as well as the levels of committed cash. Special attention will be paid to raw materials under allocation.
- Guarantee the process of orders / receipts / invoicing, and the proper maintenance of Master Data related to purchasing (Prices, Tiers, Lead Time, etc.).
- Closely monitor market trends and raw material prices.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and best practices with our partners, including contract management.
- Ensure that purchasing and ethical processes are applied.
**2) Purchasing Performance**:
- Build and maintain the purchasing strategy for your category, in line with product plan needs and CSR, innovation, and cost challenges, as well as the Operations roadmap.
- Monitor performance indicators for your categories and provide regular reporting to your management.
- Ensure the security of critical raw materials.
- Monitor the budget for your scope and seek improvement opportunities (Open To Buy, supporting Supply Chain / RFA / Savings and purchasing performance, etc.).
- Be proactive in ensuring the continuous improvement of the service.
**3) Supplier Relationship Development**:
- Manage supplier relationships, from monitoring, awarding contracts, to ending relationships.
- Develop and implement all means to build a constructive and partnership-based relationship with suppliers, with the aim of increasing agility and reducing risks (shortages, overstock, and obsolescence).
- Develop SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), foster open innovation with key suppliers.
- Manage supplier ranking, set up business reviews, and oversee action plans following business reviews
**4) CSR Purchasing & Raw Material Traceability**:
- Act as the Purchasing point of contact for all Group questions and projects related to CSR around raw materials (EUDR, traceability platform, etc.). In particular, the buyer will work with R&D on these topics.
- Work closely with the CSR Purchasing referent to contribute to the department’s roadmap.
- Update CSR purchasing tools (training, CSR Purchasing Charter, etc.).
- Ensure reporting on this topic to your manager.
With a Master’s degree (engineering or business school), you have between 4 and 6 years of professional purchasing experience, ideally gained in raw materials within the cosmetics sector (excluding internships).
You are recognized for your rigor, responsiveness, and organizational skills.
