emagine is looking for, for its final client, a Plant Design Expert.

Location : France - 100% Remotely

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 6 month minimum

As an experienced contractor, you will assist the product manager in delivering a sustainable operational run post-separation. You will join the Engineering Service Team (CAD - AEI - EDM - GIS).

As an IT expert, your role is to ensure smooth service operations, maintain SLAs, and support existing systems. You will provide engineering consulting, IT integration, and support for business units. Under the leadership of the product manager, you will collaborate closely with global teams to offer technical support, lead or contribute to projects, address challenges, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to IT standards. You will also bring expert knowledge in CAD software for design, construction, and maintenance, specifically in Piping 2D/3D and Layout, using tools like AutoCAD Plant 3D, MicroStation, OpenPlant 3D

**Mains Activities**:
**Support & Assistance**
- Resolving incidents and managing requests for installation, access, or changes.
- Enhancing support processes by coordinating with service desks, handling Level 2 escalations, and liaising with vendors for Level 3 issues.
- Providing functional expertise and advanced IT support (e.g., client-server interactions, database management, data handling).
- Link between end users and IT, aligning business needs with IT solutions.

**Application Management**
- Overseeing upgrades, migrations and patches.
- Handling documentation, inventory and installation/configuration management.
- Follow-up contracts, licenses and monitoring consumption and cost
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and supporting internal audits.

**Assets Management**
- Overseeing services in the ITSM tool, and managing the CMDB for related assets (software, computers, and servers).
- Driving continuous service improvement, managing critical incidents, and maintaining strategic relationships with business units, partners, and suppliers.

**Evolution Management**
- Evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to the simplification of the IT engineering landscape.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and technical teams to build solution roadmaps.
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and participating in internal audits.

**Project Management**
- Leading and/or contributing to projects to ensure availability, resiliency, performance, and cybersecurity.

**Required skills**:

- Proficiency in Plant Engineering Tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D, MicroStation, OpenPlant 3D...)
- Strong Knowledge of the Engineering Project Lifecycle
- Solid Experience in IT Infrastructure
- Expertise in Engineering Data/File Workflow and Cloud point Management
- Knowledge on Data Storage Strategies (EDM, CDE, etc.)
