**The Team**
As an Operating Environment and Third Party Software **Product Manager** you will be a member of the **Platform** **Technologies** **Group**.
The **Platform Technologies group** drives the evolution of the MX.3 technical capabilities aligned with market standards and customers' expectations. The team is made of Product Managers and technical experts collaborating closely with a large number of teams from all the offices of Murex and are also in direct contact with customers, IT partners and vendors.
**The MX.3 Operating Environment** **(OE) and Third Party Software (TPS)**domain consists of a set of software and hardware components necessary to ensure the proper functioning of MX.3 platform (CPU, Operating system, JAVA & Python Runtimes, RDBMS, Cloud infrastructure, etc.).
The OE and TPS domain is organized around the technical foundational layers of a traditional IT stack (Compute/Storage/Network, Virtualization/Cloud, OS, Libraries & Frameworks etc..) for the different tiers of the MX.3 platform (Application Tier, Persistence Tier, Client Tier).
The team is made of Product Managers and technical experts from different seniority levels, who work closely with software development teams, as well as support teams from all the offices of Murex, and are also in direct contact with customers, IT partners, and vendors.

**Your missions/What you will do ?**
Strategy Definition and Market/Technology watch
- Define and drive the roadmap aligning with company strategy and market trends

Strategy Execution
- Drive product validation from design to execution to client delivery
- Elaborate lean business cases by defining the usage scope of the components within the platform to achieve required outcomes, along with value-driven phasing of the delivery
- Follow up closely on the progress of the value-driven increments and helping reduce implementation risks for a timely and high-quality delivery

Collaboration
- Ability to drive collaboration across teams such as Developers, DB and Cloud Experts, Presales, Cloud Center of Excellence, Client Services, Product Teams, Security, IT, Information Systems, Quality Assurance, Release Management, Marketing, Procurement and Legal

Client Support
- Follow up on client reported concerns on OE and TPS

**Your profile**
- Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in product management or consulting in technology-focused domain

Soft Skills
- Strong Communication Skills to collaborate and align between various profiles of people and interact with stakeholders
- Able to deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors

Technical Skills
- Strong technical knowledge and will to learn topics around operating environments, system architectures, OS, Infrastructure, security standards and regulations, cloud platforms, virtualization, and containerization.
- Knowledge in software architecture and ability to assess stability and performance impact of operating environment/TPS on the system, and to challenge technical decisions associated with the product
- Strong analytical skills and technical writing skills
- Experience in third party development and management

Product Management Skills
- Strategic analysis of market trends, client needs and vendor specific features in order to compare technologies and drive product evolution
- Strategic thinking and innovation mindset: stay updated with emerging trends in operating environments
- Roadmap development: Ability to create and execute a roadmap that aligns with business goals
- Ability to deal with multiple OE Component upgrades/integration simultaneously, putting the right priorities, and developing backup strategies, contingency plans and alternative approaches when needed
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- High competency in project risk management (detection, mitigation, resolution)
