Your tasks:

- Develop, author, and update service manual procedures for various automotive systems such as Engine, Transmission, Chassis, Body, Electrical, Electric Vehicle architecture and etc.,
- Consult with various internal and external SMEs, Product engineers and various client personals to obtain the procedure requirements
- Gathering and interpreting the various client sources such as studies engineering drawings, parts lists, specifications, mock-ups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.
- Discuss with technicians located at onsite during on-vehicle tear-down and gather the required information for development of service procedures
- Researches automotive option content
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on recuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Creating graphics and work with Technical Illustrators on complex graphics
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text using XML tools
- Responsible for delivery of projects which are on time, within budget and accurate
- Incorporate engineering review changes
- Validates technical information based on client-supplied information
- Revise technical content of existing manuals based on the various feedback by using engineering specifications
- Advises team leaders and project manager of project status and potential issues
- Manages workload and achieve results with minimum supervision
- Completes various assignments as directed by management

You will bring:

- Technical writing experience
- Technical skills in the automotive field
- Experience of working with 3D CAD software (e.g. Teamcenter or CATIA)
- Practical experience of graphic editing (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Isidra, etc.)
- Practical experience of XML editing (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker, Arbor Text Editor, Metal Editor, etc.)
- Working knowledge of CMS
- PC skills (MS office suite)
- Knowledge of using SharePoint
