- TotalEnergies is looking for a
- **Pipeline Specialist** who will join the Pipeline & Riser Technology Department. The incumbent will carry out development studies related to pipelines (screening, conceptual, pre-project), for OneTech Customer Lines (Deep Offshore, Conventional Offshore, Onshore, Gas & H2, LNG, Power and CO2) and all the Company’s branches (EP, RC, MS, GRP). The
- ** Pipeline Specialist** will follow-up and assist project during FEED / Basic engineering, call for tenders and project execution. He/she will develop R&D projects and contribute to maintaining the TotalEnergies referential. He/she will support TotalEnergies affiliates and local business units on all pipeline matters.**As a Pipeline Specialist, you will have the following main missions**:

- Perform development studies for pipelines in support to Petroleum Architects
- Support projects’ team and be involved in design, fabrication, testing, installation, pre-commissioning, then decommissioning of pipelines, risers and associated equipment
- Assist affiliates and local business units for pipelines and risers’ operations and integrity management during field life, provide necessary support in case of incident. Carry out requalification and life extension studies
- Take part in preparation, writing, update and derogation management of technical referential for pipelines and risers. Ensure technical referential is widely known and used
- Contribute to the energy transition by updating the referential to include new fluids such as CO2, Hydrogen and Biofuels. Be involved in conversion of existing pipeline or the construction of new pipelines to transport these fluids.
- Be involved in R&D activities for pipelines and risers
- Solving technical issues, bringing solutions based on experience, judgement and creative thinking.
- Perform audits of field operations activities and projects.
- Perform project technical reviews.
- Contribute to improving the methods and techniques within the team.
- Write and publish technical papers.
- Be involved within normative and industry workgroups related to rigid pipelines
- These activities are related primarily to offshore pipelines and projects, but also to onshore pipelines.- Pipeline Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in offshore rigid pipeline and riser design.
- Knowledge of onshore pipelines
- Experience in rigid pipeline offshore installation.
- Experience in pipeline field operation and integrity management.
- Fluency in English.
