The Communications team is the voice of the company while being the guardian of the company's reputation. The team is responsible for telling TikTok's story, managing the company reputation, engaging in meaningful conversation, and building positive sentiment for the company. While we are truly a global company, lean-in local has always been our guiding principle in doing our work. On a daily basis, the team serves as a strategic partner for all functions in advancing business objectives.

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our French team as a Communications Manager based in Paris. Working closely with the wider communications team, both locally and globally, this role will be instrumental in developing and implementing communications initiatives to support the brand development and reputation management of TikTok in France.

In this role you will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with public policy, legal, content, global business solutions and strategic partnership teams to steward media strategies for corporate, institutional and B2B audiences.
This position requires strong media relations experience and a passion for driving comms initiatives, crafting narratives and pitching stories. This is the role for you if you are an agile, resourceful and creative professional who is passionate about cross-functional project management and relationship-building, problem-solving and planning, as well as the organization and management of information and resources. You also have strong crisis comms experience and a passion for addressing Trust & Safety related issues.

Develop and deliver strategic communications plans and programmes that advance business priorities in France, including reactive and proactive communications and outreach to corporate, institutional, B2B audiences
- Collaborate closely with the Global Comms teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement a range of proactive communications campaigns and relevant local narratives, from key partnerships, product, safety and brand announcements to evergreen story opportunities
- Develop and execute B2B communications programs for business and marketing industry audiences across France working closely with the wider communications team, both locally and globally, and being the first point of contact for the commercial and partnership teams in the region
- Build awareness of our partnerships and products through media and industry-facing initiatives that articulate our mission, values and innovation
- Support strategies that engage and educate our partners and policymakers on issues important to TikTok and our community. Source, create and deliver stakeholder-friendly stories about our positive impact and policies
- Support our rapid response comms programme, managing and resolving end-to-end inbound media queries. Manage through issues media cycles, ensuring prompt engagement and fact-checking of coverage
- Cultivate strong media relationships to land stories, advance our brand narratives and reach key audiences. Engage partners, third parties, and other KOLs to build credibility and advocacy for the brand
- Develop messaging and talking points to support our communications objectives
- Partner with cross-functional teams across France to provide regular communications counsel, to deliver compelling and impactful events for our clients and business stakeholders, and coach company spokespeople for press engagements, industry events and presentations.
- Work with local PR agency to ensure meticulous execution of tasks

**Qualifications**:

- 5-7 years minimum of experience in corporate and B2B communications, strong crisis comms experience preferred
- Proven track record in delivering programs in corporate and business comms for fast-paced environments (Tech industry experience is appreciated)
- Strong internal stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Strong experience working directly with reporters, editors, researchers, industry analysts and other key external stakeholders
- Editorial experience in corporate content and ability to communicate effectively complex information/projects
