We are looking for a **HSED Lead Engineer**for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Paris, France**

**Contract Type: Subcontractor, duration aligned with project phases.**

Qualifications & Experience Required
- Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably in HSE Design or Process Engineering.
- Over 15 years of experience in HSED engineering, with proven leadership and project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of international standards (NFPA, API, ISO, EN, etc.) and HSE specifications of major companies.
- Strong project management, technical analysis, and design optimization skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and experience with common software tools (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).
- Personal qualities: leadership, attention to detail, teamwork, proactivity, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead and organize the HSED team's activities.
- Review and ensure the quality of all HSED deliverables.
- Manage the schedule and budget for HSED activities.

Technical Studies and Analyses:

- Conduct hazardous area classification studies, passive fire protection studies, and cold spill protection assessments.
- Perform gas detection studies (flammable, toxic, and fire gases) and personnel protection analyses.
- Carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and consequence modeling to assess safety distances and accidental loads.
- Oversee environmental, health impact, and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) studies.

Coordination and Interface Management:

- Collaborate with internal departments (process, piping, civil, instrumentation, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, partners, subcontractors).
- Interface with Classification and Certification societies and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Documentation and Procedure Management:

- Prepare responses to technical comments and manage engineering queries.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
- Provide weekly reports and participate in follow-up meetings. 5. Optimization and Compliance:

- Identify and propose technical optimizations and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure deliverables comply with international standards and client requirements.
- Ensure rigorous traceability of modifications and sources.
