About you and this role

We have a great opportunity for a Process Control Technologist in our site of Lauterbourg, France.

Responsibilities
- Provides care and troubleshooting of the process automation systems, and their associated networks and interfaces.
- Provides corrective support in response to a system error condition or failure as the first point of escalation from the plant.
- Performs predictive and preventative maintenance (PPM) and health checks on systems.
- Participates in software and hardware upgrades.
- Understands and follows all identified Dow Process Automation work processes, such as Problem Resolution and Request Management, S&OP Case entry, Engineering and Maintenance Asset database updates.
- Completes small project work including system installation, configuration, design and development.
- Tracks and redeploys assets.
- Provides training and knowledge transfer to plant system focal points, as well as other site support resources.
- Interfaces with others in the Plant who support process control on troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Monitors system diagnostics aligned with plan process control staff.
- Participates in risk assessment when activities to the system are required.
- Escalates issues to additional support resources and follow-ups, as necessary.

Qualifications
- Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree) in Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, Networking or related field plus process control, manufacturing or other related experience preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience required.
- You have at least 5 years of experience
- You speak fluent French.
