Merchandising Project Manager

**ROLE**: Permanent Merchandising and The Alchemist’s Garden (niche collection) development. As a Merchandising Project Manager, this person supports the team on permanent Merchandising/The Alchemists Garden development and deployment. The PM has to ensure full understanding and circulation of permanent merchandising/The alchemists’ principles across all the markets and supervise on the design and TD creation to ensure consistency with the approved guidelines, interacting with internal and external teams/parts/suppliers. Clear communication and proper approach are key elements. Her/his presence is required during multi-functional meetings. Her/his support is required Gucci Fashion House (FH) Monthly meetings and weekly submissions, co-ordinating with all the markets to gather all out-guideline designs to be presented with all related information **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Supervision out of guidelines projects (from gondolas/backwalls to store designs) for Europe/MEA/US/Canada/Latam Markets. - Receive, check and give inputs to optimise the designs to allow the submission to Gucci FH, - Decks creation for FH meetings (once a month) + weekly PM deck preparation (gathering Markets projects in one unique ppt document, supporting Markets in design revisions, check if all the relevant commercial info are present) - Management of external agency to release in due timings permanent and temporary guidelines for each new launch (creation of a detailed brief to get renders, technical drawings, interactive guidelines documents) and deployment with the Markets - Support in the development of new elements (display/shelving tools/new furniture’s etc), from reception of the creativity from FH, check of the technical details to guarantee their "correctness", prototype creation dealing with partner suppliers, - Interface with internal teams (Purchase dept, Trade Marketing, GTM, Marketing) for the development/periodically offering to Markets of the globally produced elements, Suppliers’ qualification - Reception and quality check of all the material samples from WW markets/suppliers until final qualification in the new PM concept, - Supervision/check of production Technical Drawings of the designs in case of support needed by the Markets, **SKILLS**: - Ideal profile has a Design/Architecture/Interior Design/Visual Merchandising background. - Very good eye for technical details, materials, finishes, proportions, with sensitivity to Retail and Commercial dynamics (capable to read a floormap and develop design solutions to optimise customer’s experience). - Passion for Cosmetic industry and Luxury is a plus.
