**Senior Network Engineering Specialist**:
**Location**: Strasbourg

**Experience**: 9+ years in **network engineering & security**

**Education**: Master’s degree or equivalent in **Computer Science, IT, or related field**

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a **Senior Network Engineering Specialist** to design, implement, and maintain **highly secure and efficient network infrastructures**. You will play a critical role in **network configuration, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting**, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Network Configuration & Maintenance**
- Design, test, install, and configure **LAN/WAN networks**.
- Maintain and optimize **DNS, IP administration, VLAN, TCP/IP, and routing protocols**.
- Implement and monitor **firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network security policies**.

**Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization**
- Perform **log file analysis, network diagnostics, and capacity planning**.
- Utilize **network analyzers, sniffers, and monitoring tools** to identify and resolve issues.

**Security & Compliance**
- Ensure **network encryption and cybersecurity best practices**.
- Collaborate with vendors and manage network security devices.
- Maintain compliance with **EU security standards (EU SECRET clearance required)**.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
✔ **Advanced knowledge** of **Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancers**

✔ Experience with **network management tools (IXIA, Netflow, etc.)**

✔ Strong expertise in **network design, capacity planning, and security monitoring**

✔ Knowledge of **ITIL, ITSM, and IPv6 deployment**

✔ Ability to work in a **multicultural & fast-paced environment**

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.

Even though most of our positions require at least 3 years of experience, some are open to new starters.
