The mission is in the business line Industrial Merchant, in charge of delivering customers by transportation, in bulk or in compressed packaged gases.

The Data & Digital (D&D) team is composed of 9 persons [6 digital solution experts (SAP, SalesForce etc..) + 3 Data Analysts] located in various cities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Within the D&D team, the Data team is in charge of the technology & data management for Benelux in the department Industrial Merchant (Packaged Gases and Bulk). Our mission is to bring intelligence from data to business owners (sales team, customer service team, supply chain teams...). This team composed of 2 data scientists (VIE) and 1 Business Data Analyst is located in our head office in Evere (Brussels)

**Missions and Responsibilities** Mission Summary**:
To grow and enrich the data journey of the Nordic countries with a specific focus on the newly started Sales & Operations Planning(S&OP) process.

**You will contribute to this mission by**
- Building and maintaining useful dashboards and reports (PowerBI) based on the needs of various business teams (Primarily Production, Asset management, Sales and Logistics) with a specific focus on forecasted values.
- Engage in discussions with the different teams to understand their various needs and how to improve in order to align amongst teams, and provide the best possible integration of the S&OP process.
- Identify potential new areas to improve and align with Cluster interest by actively collaborating with the Benelux/cluster team.
- Being proactive, proposing and building advanced data models (Forecast, decision trees, data quality issues detection) in Python / R to create value for the company

**Competencies and Profile**

**Education**:

- Engineering background

Field of specialization:

- Specific knowledge about data science
- Coding (good level of Python or R)
- Understanding of some key concepts of Data Science (data modeling)

Plus:

- knowledge of PowerBI (if no knowledge high willingness to learn)
- Javascript / Google Script
- capacity to write SQL queries

Soft and Hard Skills:

- Curious and Eager to discover Air Liquide’s business
- Capacity to summarize business needs
- Capacity to leverage data to answer business questions

Languages:

- English fluency is Mandatory
- French and Swedish are Nice to Have

**Position based in Brussels, Belgium for an initial period of 24 months.**
