Regulatory Affairs Manager EMEAI - L'Oréal Travel Retail We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs department of L'Oréal Travel Retail EMEAI located in Seine 62 Campus (France), working in close collaboration with the Worldwide Regulatory Affairs & Claims team in Saint-Ouen (RIO campus). You will be the privileged point of contact for the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs departments within the EMEAI region and SRCM (Safety, Regulatory, claims and Microbiology) teams for any regulatory issues related to the business undertaken in the Duty-Free areas with the objective of ensuring products compliance, license to operate thus contributing to the Travel Retail business expansion and sustainability. For these travelers called "global shoppers", shopping is an integral part of the trip. They shop anywhere, anytime, and are always excited to kill time by exploring the new products on offer in the departure's hall. While it is present in duty-free shops in city centres, on board planes, on cruise ships and in border shops, Travel Retail is mainly invading airports, which make more than 50% of its total sales. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - You provide scientific & regulatory support and expertise to Travel Retail Operation and marketing teams with the objective of ensuring product compliance with national regulations. - You provide a proactive monitoring of the regulatory developments affecting Travel Retail business, issue management policies and strategies. - You contribute to developing the regulatory expertise within the Travel Retail organization (organization of specific trainings and information sessions) - You act as scientific & regulatory affairs advisor in managing potential crisis situations within the Duty Free areas related to product safety, regulatory issues and product communication - You lead/contribute to interdisciplinary projects within the Travel Retail Scientific & Regulatory Affairs department and the WW Regulatory & Claims community - You animate the regulatory community within Travel Retail EMEAI YOUR INTERACTIONS - TR EMEAI Operations teams (supply chain, customer care) - TR EMEAI Marketing & Commercial teams (all Divisions) - TR EMEAI Legal Affairs - Scientific and Regulatory Affairs departments in countries /Zones - SRCM (Safety, Regulatory, claims and Microbiology) teams - R&I Laboratories - Corporate Affairs & Engagement teams (issue & crisis management, public affairs) YOUR PROFILE AND ESSENTIALS SKILS - BSc degree in Science (pharmacy, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, toxicology,...) - Fluent French and English. Additional language skills are highly valued - Previous mid-term experience within R&C, a country and /or Zone is a must-have - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Proactive problem-solver with a results-driven approach and a passion for developing creative and effective solutions. - A collaborative and adaptable team player with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments. - Committed to continuous learning and professional development, with a proactive approach to acquiring new knowledge and skills. - A keen interest in data and IT tools is an asset.
