Demand Planner

We are hiring a Sales and Operations (S&OP) Demand Planner who will report to the Director of Order Fulfillment EMEA. The central purpose of this role is to integrate all sources of forecasted demand input with responsibility of providing a consensus view and guidance relating to future business conditions at multiple levels of the product data hierarchy. As leader, we aspire to continuously generate new value for our community of customers, dealers, and suppliers, making the order fulfillment experience a competitive advantage for Steelcase. **What You Will Be Doing**: - Take part in the S&OP Europe project to create and implement a formalized S&OP demand planning processes and capability in collaboration with the S&OP NA team, - Create and maintains product line forecasts by integrating output from statistical models with business intelligence and qualitative insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources within the organization, - Lead the dialogue each month for respective customers and products with key counterparts in Sales and Marketing, - Responsible for the preparation and leadership of the Demand Review as part of a formalized Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, - Provide support in demand analysis for targeted market or customers needs, - Animate, share and explain the Demand analyses with the Supply team in order to balance supply with demand, - Participates in the creation of the data analysis culture within Operations **Who You Are**: Required Skills and Competencies - Excellent ability to analyze, conceptualize and logically organize data - Extensive comprehension of the supply chain processes - Ability to recognize and analyze problems, determine which processing or data relationships need to be altered, and direct the activities required to resolve problems across multifunctional departments. - Excellent team player with a customer focus attitude - Individual and collective work capacity - Ability to take initiative, drive consensus, prioritize, and multi task - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to do group presentations and to lead workshops (interviews, "gap analysis", demos...) - Ability to develop methodology & model for deployment & training. - Project Management and transition to support capability - Proficiency in BI, Tableau, BW and queries - Proficiency in English and French. Other European language would be a plus.
