- In this role, you will be part of the finance team in our business group, Subsea and Land Systems, specializing in the execution of turn-key and supply-only contracts for Subsea and Land cable manufacturing and installation around the globe.- The Senior Project Controller collaborates with the project
- and tender teams and the finance team in SLS, including plant controllers and the central Finance team. Responsible for financial aspects of specific contracts within the respective tender/project teams, and the controlling department.- Within the project team, you will be responsible for the financial items. You will take part in all relevant activities within the project teams, to keep a good overview of the risks and opportunities, and their possible impacts on the project P&L. Together with the Project Manager, you need to be able to challenge the project team to get the most accurate picture of the project development. Our senior project controller also needs to ensure metal and currency hedging is properly done.- You will have to be comfortable working in SAP to establish and maintain the work breakdown structure (WBS) throughout the project’s lifetime.- As our senior project controller, you will also need to follow up on production orders, installation activities, and all other project activities.- Our growth culture- At the individual level, our growth culture is built on trust and collaboration. - Your starting point when you join- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant financial field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years working experience in finance, preferably with a background from EPCI / turnkey project environment. Project controlling and Tender experience an advantages.
- Advanced user of Excel, and relevant experience working with SAP. Power BI (or similar tool) user experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience reviewing and understanding contracts and other legal documents.
- Good communication and co-operation skills.
- Fluent in English, Norwegian is a plus, verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
