**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Based at OPmobility's international R&D center, you will have the opportunity to work on the development and validation of new recycled and sustainable materials for automotive components.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct a benchmark on new recycled materials, lighter and bio-based, that can be use to manufacture our rear automotive parts (linings, inserts, etc.)
- Maintain regular follow-ups with our suppliers concerning the development of these materials
- Coordinate with our other Business Groups to repurpose their material waste in our projects
- Monitor and facilitate injection tests on parts
- Evaluate the thermomechanical properties of new materials
- Calculate the life cycle assessment (LCA) of materials and parts

**PROFILE**
- Graduate or undergraduate student (BAC+4/5) pursuing degree in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a similar field
- Interested in issues related to recycled materials and passionate about sustainable innovation
- Possesses advanced levels of fluency in English and French (B2/C1)
- Good knowledge of Office 365 tools - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication and synthesis skills
- Team spirit
- Curious, creative, and dynamic

**DURATION**

6-month internship starting January/February 2025

**LOCATION**

Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (30 km from Lyon - carpooling options are available).

**COMPENSATION**
