Within the BoT (Bureau of Technology) department, the Platform tribe plays a central role in designing and maintaining the core technical components of our infrastructure, providing key tools, services, and solutions to support the development of our products and engineers. The Data Platform team’s role is to design, build, and scale the data infrastructure, pipelines, and self-service tools to support data-driven decision making across all teams. Our goal is to enable our users — from raw data ingestion to actionable business intelligence. As a Data Engineer within this team, you'll join a passionate group dedicated to removing data friction, automating complex processes, and accelerating analytics innovation across all our squads. **Your Mission** We are looking for an** Experienced Data Engineer**to help us build & operate a set of data services to support the growth of the business: you will help take care of the data collection, processing, and delivery infrastructure behind the scenes. You will be working in an agile **"build it and run it"** environment where engineering teams build, launch, monitor, and support the product that they own. **What You'll Work On**Self-Service Data Platform**: Build and improve the data ecosystem, making it seamless for analysts, scientists, developers and business users to access, explore, and analyze data independently.**Data Architecture & Engineering**: Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lake architectures that handle large volumes of internal and external data efficiently.**Collaboration**: Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Business teams, Marketing, and Product to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions for dashboards, reporting, and analytics.**Platform Reliability**: Ensure the scalability, security, stability, and availability of our data infrastructure, implementing best practices for data governance and quality.**Automation & Optimization**: Develop and automate data flows from ingestion to consumption, eliminating manual processes and ensuring data freshness and accuracy.**Cross-Platform Integration**: Collaborate with other Platform teams (Infrastructure, Engineering Productivity, Code Foundations) to improve the overall developer experience. **Our Tech Stack**- Python, SQL, Go- Apache Airflow (GCP Cloud Composer)- BigQuery, Kafka, dbt- Fivetran- GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Crossplane- Docker, Git, Bash- CI/CD (CircleCI/GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc). **What We're Looking For**Technical Excellence**: You possess extensive experience in programming languages (Python preferred) and have knowledge of data infrastructure tools like data warehouses, streaming platforms, and orchestration systems, and you know about infrastructure-as-code approaches.
