Primary Responsibilities
- Designing indices, including data analysis, modeling, back-testing, rule creation, marketing material drafting, and operational handovers
- Creating new thematic indices and preparing index presentations for clients
- Providing client support by answering queries related to index rules, compositions, mechanisms, data providers, etc.
- Ensuring internal database consistency and performing data quality checks during index design
- Paying close attention to detail in the index creation process and ensuring smooth handover to the operations team

Education
- Master’s degree preferred in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science with strong finance and business components

Skills
- Advanced Python — essential
- Intermediate knowledge of database architecture, data flows, and SQL
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and FactSet
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Customer-focused and commercially driven
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Strong team player, committed to delivering high-quality results
- Prior experience in using data to develop new thematic ideas is a plus

Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in indexation, portfolio construction, financial product development, or trading
- Experience with IT systems and operational processes is a plus
- Exposure to sales or client relationship management is an asset
