**Votre rôle et vos missions**:
AXA IM is an international asset manager and part of the AXA group, a global leader in insurance. Our team includes a wide range of skills and experiences to better meet our clients' needs.

As a **Data Modeler** you will join the **Data Platform** and will be part of the **Data Tech**within the **GCOO**Department (Global Chief Operating Officer), covering the day-to-day operational functions of our business.

As part of its Data strategy, AXA IM has built a highly successful/state of the art Data Product Factory. About 15+ various Data Product squads from different domains (Data Referential, Responsible Investment, Quant & Research, Finance, Digital, Front office, Operations, Trading, etc.) are building their own data product suite and leveraging the data families produced and maintained by the domains themselves. The platform offers Data Pipeline industrialization, Data Science, Exploration, Visualization for our internal customers and other AXA Entities.

You will participate to the elaboration of the domain’s data models and insure consistency of the platform in line with Data Tech and Governance standards. This will require you to understand the Data Platform content and distribution solutions as well as analyzing the usage. In this position, you will have to interact with data engineers, analysts and product owners from all AXA IM tech squads as well as data management team to help them designing the correct functional and technical model for their Data.

Your role and responsibilities:

- Write down best practices on Data Modeling in collaboration with Architecture and Data Tech leads. You will then have to present it to the Data community.
- Evaluate data models already delivered and push for improvements (consistency, cross-compatibility, quality, metadata adoption).
- Analyze business needs (directly or through the intermediation of data analysts) to create solution data models at the database and API level.
- Work with data architecture and administrators.
- Guide developers in implementing features for our internal customers.
- Design control patterns to ensure global consistency across time.
- Propose and design standards and norms related to data modeling.
- Participate in the assessment of our data families regarding the Data Governance & Accessibility KPIs.
- Participate in the setup of reporting solutions.
- Build tools to evaluate the quality of standards for each tribe and means to help developers avoid incorrect modeling.

You will also work alongside our Business and your squad to:

- Participate in the Data Governance & Data Quality strategy.
- Influence prioritization and high-level delivery strategy.
- Highlight optimization through constant feedback loops involving all actors of the value chain.
- Advocate for tackling technical debt, testing automation, and software industrialization.
- Present Data Modeling KPIs you have designed and built to provide an overall status and progress update.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data warehousing and analytics projects
- Proven experience in defining, implementing, and scaling data models and API design
- Background in the financial services industry (Asset Management or Investment Banking) is a strong plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

**Technical Competencies**:

- Expertise in Data Modelling and Metadata Management
- Strong experience with Data Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and API development
- Proficiency in Python (Scala is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Spark, preferably on Databricks
- Familiarity with various data formats (Avro, Parquet, JSON, CSV)
- Understanding of API management and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
