Junior Business Analyst

The SBS Operations team, within the P&C COO division, is in charge of SBS operations (Large Corporate Risk Insurance). Its mandates are as follows:

- **Data**:Providing comprehensive data and reports to underwriters and management for effective activity monitoring.
- **Governance**:Ensuring efficient and regulatory-compliant SBS underwriting activities.
- **Tools, Projects & Systems**:Equipping SBS teams with the necessary tools and systems for optimal performance.
- **Support the Data and Governance activities**
- Migrate existing Tableau reports to Power BI
- Conduct data quality reviews
- **Support the UP Project team**
- Gather and challenge business requirements and participate to solution elaboration.
- Carry out study phases and contribute to functional and technical specifications design.
- Write User stories
- Test modules delivered
- Write and maintain documentation
- Proactively contribute to change management: support end users, provide training
- Perform data correction
- **Support in the Cat Modelling team as a junior cat modelling analyst**
- Learn how to use Risk Reveal (Cat Modelling tool).
- Understand cat modelling processes.
- Model accounts in production during peak activities or when the Cat Modelling team is overwhelmed.
- Check cat modelling results before releasing them to Underwriters and consult with senior cat modelers if needed.
- **Participate in Maintenance activities**
- Review and sort daily user requests.
- Determine if issues can be resolved internally or need escalation.
- Communicate with users to resolve issues promptly.
- Draft user stories with root causes and solutions.

**Experience**:

- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Previous internship or work experience in a related field.

- Good understanding of Business and IT processes and willingness to constantly update knowledge.

**Technical skills**:

- Software Application Project Experience in Agile environment with expertise in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Data extraction in SQL
- Reporting dashboards: experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BISoftware programming (Python, Java)

**Language skills**:

- The role requires fluent English skills (oral & written).

**Required Education**

Engineering degree required or higher education diploma (Master or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related experience.
