**We are hiring this position for a start-up high-tech innovation company, their mission is to turn our planet a greener society by develop innovative high efficient process and technology to convert carbon dioxide to into chemicals and fuels.**

Our client **builds high-performance carbon capture and electrolysis technologies **that convert **carbon dioxide (CO2) into the world’s most widely used renewable feedstocks, fuels, and commodity chemicals.**

**II. Job General scope**:
Our client is looking for a Stack Engineer-Carbon Capture and Utilization who in **collaboration with our Senior Stack Design Specialist, will mainly oversee/Lead the design of gas/fluid management systems, is an opportunity to play a fundamental role in the scale up of transformative technology by working closely with our international team and solving hard problems, meaningfully addressing climate change.**
Be pragmatic, hands-on, and experienced Mechanical Engineer willing to save the planet within a great team.
This position reports to the CEO and Head of Stacks

**III. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives**:

- Leading the design of gas/fluid management systems
- Dimensioning systems based on theoretical calculations and computational-aided simulations (manifolds, thermal exchangers, pumps, circulation loops)
- Highly contributing to stack design - co-leading innovative product design
- Lead the manufacturing planning/ordering and relation with suppliers

**IV. Qualification requirements**:

- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Master’s degree + industrial experience
- 3-8 years of hands-on practical experience in mechanical engineer / mechanical design engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design (CAD)
- Solid theoretical knowledge fluid mechanics, thermal management, solid mechanics (compression, material resistance)
- Ideally knows gas handling/pressure drops and fluid mechanics
- Experience in combustion engines or electrolysers or fuel cells or field at the interface of fluid/thermal management
- Irreproachable work ethic.
- Fluent English (Or any other Language will be appreciated)
