The Head of Tracking plays a crucial role at Sephora EME's Data division, ensuring that data collection across web, app, and various third-party interfaces runs flawlessly. This position requires acute awareness of compliance within an always changing legal, technical, and product landscape across numerous countries. He’s in charge of managing a significant budget and team.
- Leading the tracking team to ensure efficient data collection on all e-commerce platforms while remaining compliant legal and technical best practices
- Managing significant budgetary resources effectively.
- Collaborating closely with Product, Media and Marketing, and Offer teams to leverage technology solutions from major industry players like Google (including GA4), Microsoft, Meta, and TikTok.
- Overseeing the legal aspects of tracking technologies to fulfill all regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the technical quality assurance processes to minimize UX impact due to tracking implementations on platforms.
- Developing and maintaining a CORE model for consistent tracking across diverse technologies and product environments internationally.
- Instituting robust processes with Gouvernance and IT Team to ensure data quality
- Propose innovative methods in term of technic and process to achieve these goals
- At least 4+ years of experience in tracking within large companies; expertise in both web and app preferred.
- Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and large budgets effectively.
- Strategic thinker who can anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 is essential.
- Strong background in Tag Management Systems (TMS).
- Background with Google Cloud Platform services related to data analytics such as BigQuery.
- Competent in SQL queries for advanced data analysis tasks.
- Experience with server-side tracking implementations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the global data market landscape.
- Ability to navigate complex legal frameworks affecting digital tracking practices.

- Diriger l'équipe de Tracking pour assurer une collecte efficace des données sur toutes les plateformes e-commerce tout en restant conforme aux meilleures pratiques légales et techniques.
- Gérer efficacement des ressources budgétaires importantes.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes Produit, Média et Marketing, ainsi que les équipes Offres pour tirer parti des solutions technologiques proposées par des acteurs majeurs tels que Google, Microsoft, Meta et TikTok.
- Répondre des aspects légaux des technologies de suivi pour répondre à toutes les exigences réglementaires.
- Surveiller les processus de delivery pour minimiser l'impact sur l'expérience utilisateur dû aux implémentations de suivi sur les plateformes.
- Développer et maintenir un modèle CORE pour un suivi cohérent à travers différentes technologies et environnements produits à l'international.
- Mettre en place des processus robustes avec l'équipe Gouvernance et IT pour assurer la qualité des données.
- Proposer des méthodes innovantes en termes de technique et processus pour atteindre ces objectifs.
