**Company**: Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. **Job Area**: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering **General Summary**: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Integration of software changes (bug fixes and new features), with a strong focus on LTE (4G IoT) and 5G protocol stack, RF management and low power procedures for embedded devices - Writing and performing system integration tests plans - Investigating issues raised on the field or coming from other teams to reproduce and diagnose the issue - Provide remote and onsite support for the investigation of failing test cases PROFILE: - Ability to analyze, track and report issues - Ability to understand and instrument the Protocol Stack software (C/C++) for debug and investigation purpose - Highly motivated, fast learner and autonomous - Work well within a multicultural team REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Engineering degree with 5 + years professional experience in the telecoms domain - Several years of experience in power consumption management and low level drivers - Experience in embedded software development - Knowledge and practical experience of mobile, cellular (3GPP) or wireless communication protocols (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE, 4G, 5G) - Knowledge in LTE Release 13 and 14 (Cat-M, NB1, Cat1Bis) is a plus - Knowledge in C and C++, Python, Linux, git, administration tools - Knowledge of other wireless technologies (GPS, Wifi, Lora, Sigfox ) is a plus - Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills (French is not required) **Minimum Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
