**Job description**:
✨ **The role of Solution Engineer**:
As a Solution Engineer working in the Pre-Sales team at OneStock, we expect you to:

- ** Design and develop** the demo environment to support the team in demoing/ client presentation
- ** Demonstrate a strong understanding of Retail**,** e-Commerce** and Order Management solutions
- Ability to develop and** configure extensions** and personalised demos
- ** Manage RFP process** and solution design, especially on functional, integration and project topics (planning and project cost)
- Be present and co-facilitate meetings/ workshops/ support sessions to present the functional, integration and project topics to the various contacts at the prospects
- ** Support in building POC** with technology partners to demonstrate joined value propositions and end to end demo.
- ** Become fluent in competitive positioning** and be effective in differentiating OneStock
- ** Provide pre-sales technical consulting** to Sales staff by participating in online demonstrations, conference calls and site visits with our Account Executives
- ** Collaborate** with **Product Management**,** Engineering**,** Client Services**, and **Marketing teams** to ensure that newly released features are understood and continue to strengthen our value proposition.

**Profile**:
**The profile we’re looking for**:
You are a passionate person and already have solid experience in retail and/or IT systems integration.

**Your strengths**:

- ** 3-5 years Sales/Solutions Engineering** or **Tech lead developer** experience in a relevant market
- ** BA/BS** in technology or equivalent experience required
- ** Strong knowledge** of **web technologies** including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Next.js and JSON.
- ** Experienced in solution architecting**, project scoping and product demonstration skills
- Comfortable with consultative presentation to C-level business executives as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience.
- You are capable of independently **managing projects** from start to finish while maintaining regular communication with stakeholders.
- You are thorough and able to share your knowledge with your team.
- You are comfortable with both written and spoken **communication in English**.

**Bonus points**:

- Familiarity with major **e-commerce CMS platforms** (Shopify, Magento, CommerceTools, etc.), ERP and/or WMS
- A solid understanding of **microservices architecture**.
- Italian or German speaking will be an advantage

**Working Conditions**:
Regular travel is expected to prospect onsite meetings across Europe and occasionally in the US.

In order to understand our customers' market, this new employee will participate in projects and will work closely with the project, development and support teams of the Onboarding and Support team.
