**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot software issues and perform necessary updates or repairs.
- Manage computer hardware installations and configurations.
- Support computer networking tasks, including VPN setup and firewall configurations.
- Maintain documentation of IT support requests using tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
- Conduct analysis of system performance and recommend improvements.
- Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory.
- Provide support for mobile devices and various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Collaborate with network administration teams on LAN/WAN issues and TCP/IP configurations.
**Skills**
- Proficient in technical support and desktop support practices.
- Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with computer management tools such as SCCM.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS, TCP, and firewall management.
- Experience with IT infrastructure management and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with help desk operations using platforms like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
- Ability to work with various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience in managing mobile devices within an enterprise environment.
