Project Manager

Job Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project lifecycle to ensure we deliver against pre-set deliverables as projects move from order through to completion. You will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders, dealers, clients and affiliated partners to capture and minimise errors, manage expectations and ensure issues are dealt with accordingly. Your overall objective is to manage the project process to ensure MillerKnoll represents a competent and safe partner.

Specific Responsibilities
- Act as overall project manager to ensure all required deliverables are achieved to a high standard
- Frequent interaction with Clients, Dealers, MK sales, A&D and Contract Managers (AMO) to understand what projects need support.
- Frequent interaction MK manufacturing facilities in the UK & Italy - working with the MK / Dealer designers to ensure all project related typicals are well detailed and drawn by CAD designers before the installation starts.
- Day to day management of project orders - working closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure efficiency and an on time and sequenced correctly.
- Conduct site survey to review building access, delivery procedures, lift usage, co-ordinate installation with other trades (Power/IT)
- Provide an upfront professional and client focussed input into the Operations team to help improve operational efficiency around projects or influence key decisions.
- Increasingly own direct orders that do not have dealers involved and manage the smooth delivery of these projects
- Installation - Manage and provide all relevant plans and technical drawings to installation team
- Installation - responsible for regular progress reports to be shared with all key Project stakeholders
- Installation - reporting of all claims of damages, specification issues & missing components to MK operations teams, work with them to ensure replacements are supplied inline with clients installation programme/expectations.
- Installation - responsible for signing off each phase / area as complete with the client.
- Installation - once signed off and all claims are complete you will be responsible for the final project sign off and handing over of any necessary documents
- Regional Storage & Distribution centre - responsible for working with a local 3rd party logistics provider to ensure all orders are correctly forecast, stored and final deliveries procedures are in place.
- Regional Storage & Distribution centre - responsible for all inventory held with 3rd party logistics providers, keeping stock control records live and available to all key stakeholders

Job holder requirements
- Strong project management experience, multi-stakeholder, internationally focussed role
- Established ability to manage multi-functional project teams
- Ideally hold a relevant Project Management qualification e.g Prince 2
- Team player
- Capability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and business needs
- Ability to innovate and look for the extra-mile to gain internal and external client satisfaction
- High level of energy and self-initiative to see tasks through from beginning to completion
- Competence in the usage of Project Management Software which includes GANTT charts and workflow
- Prepared for occasional travel throughout Europe
- Must be self-reliant, resourceful, a good problem-solver, and flexible
- Language - Fluent in written and spoken French and English
