**About Us**:R.J. O'Brien & Associates LLC is the oldest and largest independent futures brokerage and clearing firm in the United States. Our Paris office is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Equity Derivatives Broker Intern.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Trade Support**:Assist brokers in the execution and management of equity derivative trades, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- **Market Research**:Conduct market research and analysis to support strategies, identifying trends and opportunities.
- **Coding and Automation**: Develop and maintain VBA scripts for trading and reporting purposes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- **Market Monitoring**:Monitor and report on market trends and movements, providing insights to the brokerage team.
- **Administrative Support**:Handle daily administrative tasks, including documentation, trade reconciliation, and client communications.
- **Tool Development**: Contribute to the development of new trading tools and strategies, leveraging technical skills to improve processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an engineering school or a top-tier business school.
- Prior experience in market finance is essential.
- Proficient in coding with VBA, other languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
