**TotalEnergies **is proposing a new position for an
- **Instrumentation, System, Industrial Telecom Engineer M/F** who will address the challenges of energy transition and whose daily actions will have a direct and positive impact on greenhouse gases emissions.- You will be part of a team of around thirty specialists in the domains of Instrumentation, Advanced Process Control & Industrial Telecom, in various technology scopes (refineries and petrochemical plants, biogas plants, wind farms and solar power plants, etc.).
- As a Subject Matter Expert, specializing in Instrumentation/Systems & Industrial Telecom, you will be mainly responsible for:
- Assist sites, at their request, in solving short-term problems
- Assist sites in their performance improvement (Long Term Plans, Obsolescence plans, Life Extension Plans etc.)
- Provide technical support for projects including conceptual and FEED phases.
- Participate in specific topics such as technical survey or specific equipment or OEM technical qualification.
- Participate in the pre-qualification of Instrumentation or ICSS suppliers.
- Analyze feedback, assess the impact of new regulations, and participate in writing of the Company Technical Standards and Best Practices.
- Participate in project reviews.
- Make proposals to reduce the OPEX & CAPEX of the Projects (New suppliers, best practices, Innovative solutions etc.).
- Instrumentation or Industrial IT Engineer, with at least 12 years of experience acquired through detailed engineering and in the field.Required Competences:
- Instrumentation (Oil industry, Petrochemical, Chemical,).
- Industrial IT and cybersecurity
- Control and Safety Systems and Functional Safety (Oil & Gas Industry, Wind Farm, Bio refinery).
- Industrial Telecom (PAGA, CCTV, POB, Telecommunication Network, 4G-5G, LORA or NB IOT or LT EM, Satellite, Fiber optics.)
- Fluent in French and in English.
