**Responsibilities**:
Employment/Recruitment (30%)
- Ensures that each position has a job description which is up to date and applicable; responsible for editing and ensuring accurate evaluation of the position by coordinating with the Comp/Ben COE
- Advises on employment offers by coordinating between Hiring Manager, applicant, Comp/Ben COE, and Recruiting Partner
- Actively supports TDW’s On-Boarding program by ensuring that all elements of the On-Boarding program are implemented
Delivery of HR Programs & Initiatives (35%)
- Assists in the delivery, training, and execution of performance review process (Mid-year, Annual, & Objective Setting)
- Coordinates with managers the terms and schedules of all compensation and benefit programs including merit increase process.
- Ensures compliance to all governmental employment laws and codes, reporting any violation of such to the HRBP
- Enforces and responds to all Corporate HR Policies & Procedures and reports violation of such in a timely manner; provides feedback to the COE on suggested updates and changes
- May assist in the delivery of training programs as directed by the Talent Development COE
Contributes and adheres to HR departmental budget Business Partnership (35%)
- Advises managers on counseling employees regarding performance issues, works closely with them in the resolution of difficult employment matters.
- Provides one-to-one guidance to managers on leadership and professional development. May assist with Individual Development Plans and feedback on development assessments.
- Supports Business Partners in basic organizational changes and makes recommendations on how to align the organization to meet company strategy and goals; May also assist in the implementation of organizational changes.
- Schedules and coordinates all employee relations events in assigned facility or region ensuring compliance to HR values and TDW culture
- Serves as direct contact with TDW employees to answer questions regarding employee benefits.
- Provide daily oversight to the facility management of the site
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business-related discipline. Will consider experience in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ HR generalist experience
- Required to speak a second language fluently (English, French)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within a multicultural environment
- Solid understanding of local labor laws and employment practices
- Respect for confidentiality and discretion
- Intermediate skills in MS Office programs required. SharePoint experience preferred.
