Position Duties

Afin de rejoindre l'un de ses nouveaux projets, DONTNOD Entertainment recherche un.e Technical Designer F/H/X.

Rattaché.e au Technical Director du projet, vous travaillez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes design et techniques afin de définir tous les outils et méthodes de production adaptés au projet.

À ce titre, vos missions seront les suivantes:

- Vous contribuez au développement des systèmes, fonctionnalités et outils nécessaires à la production en garantissant la clarté des communications, en rédigeant des documents de spécification et en faisant des retours d'utilisation.
- Vous garantissez une mise à disposition des ingrédients de jeu en les prototypant et en préparant leurs structures.
- Vous fournissez un support continu de scripting en définissant des standards et en vérifiant les scripts mis en place
- Vous assurez la définition de process clairs de préparation et d'intégration des fonctionnalités et du contenu des designers en écrivant des guides d'intégration et en communiquant les contraintes techniques
- Vous participez à l'organisation et la maintenance technique du projet en prenant en charge la mise en place structurelle des niveaux, en vérifiant le respect des règles d'organisation et en contribuant à la résolution des problèmes
- Vous coopérez avec les équipes techniques sur les sujets de chargement et de performance en proposant des méthodes de streaming et de sauvegarde adaptées tout en assistant les designers sur la définition de leurs budgets techniques

**Qualifications**:

- Issu.e idéalement d'une formation en jeux vidéo, vous disposez d'au moins 3 ans d'expérience sur des fonctions similaires
- Proactif.ve et force de proposition, vous aimez être autonome sur votre poste
- Vous avez des notions théoriques en programmation ou avez conscience des contraintes techniques d'un projet, ce qui vous permet de faciliter vos échanges et votre collaboration avec les équipes techniques
- La connaissance du moteur de jeux tel que Unreal Engine 5 (ou équivalent) est requis pour ce poste
- Rationnel.le, rigoureux.se et pragmatique, vous savez communiquer la bonne information aux interlocuteurs.trices concerné.e.s
- Vous avez des compétences en scripting qui vous permettent de prototyper et mettre en place certaines fonctionnalités en autonomie
- Une expérience en monde ouvert ou semi-ouvert serait un atout pour ce poste.
- Votre niveau d'anglais est professionnel (lu / ecrit)

Ce poste est à pourvoir dans nos locaux du 19ème arrondissement de Paris. Vous avez également la possibilité de télétravailler sur ce poste (partiellement ou à temps plein).
