Jacobs Clean Energy France SAS, a subsidiary of the Jacobs Group, draws on its experience and expertise in the design, operation and maintenance of nuclear infrastructures to meet its customers' needs as closely as possible. Jacobs France supports its customers throughout the entire life cycle of a nuclear facility, from construction or licensing support to decommissioning, including support for operating facilities (modifications, life extension, safety improvements, etc.). With two offices strategically located in Aix-en-Provence and Paris, the company's staff is made up of high-level engineers and managers. Its rapid growth allows it to represent today about 120 employees.

**Job description**

The Project Manager supports the Owner in project management and in contract management, including in some cases technical expertise. He is in charge of assessing and supporting from the project and contract management point of view the Client’s project officers during the evolution of the contract: tender, design, manufacture, construction, and handover phases

He / She is responsible for:

- Support Client project officers for project and contract management. The Project Manager supports the Client’s technical project manager on Architect engineer and contractor day-to-day management
- Participate in the management and assessment of the quality documentation
- Support the Client in the management of the variations and general project changes with contractors
- Participate in the management and assessment of the test and commissioning documentation provided by the Constructor
- Is the Client’s representative to ensure that all Design validation processes will be completed in due time, acting as Secretary when appointed in a design review
- Comment on the design and recommends to the Client the instruction to be given to the Architect Engineer
- Monitor the overall schedule of delivery and forward planning.
- Support a safety culture
- Participate in the assessment of the constructability of the solutions proposed by the Architect Engineer and the Contractors together with the schedule and the overall project constraints
- Support “as built” documentation validation process.
- Support the Contracts Manager for the claim management and for the letter management drafting letters when necessary.

- Issue Schedule and Milestones, Interfaces (technical and physical), risk register
- Target date Schedule management
- Manufacturing plan of his deliverables, monitoring of progress, reporting, corrective actions proposal
- Robust, accurate and pertinent substantiation
- Clear, realistic, and understandable recommendations and continuous improvement process propositions
- Ability to share expertise
- Monitor activity, evaluate performances, develop continuous improvement processes
- Take leadership and manage directly when required
- Challenge request and claim
- Negotiate fairly but for the best interest of the team/customer/ project

**Localization**:

- Town : Saint-Paul-lez-Durance (Bouches-du-Rhône)
- Engineering degree or equivalence.
- More than 5 years of experience working as part of large engineering projects in technical or engineering roles with at least some demonstrated experience in project management. Previous experience on the ITER project is very desirable. Senior/intermediate.
- Nuclear experience.
- Language skills: fluent English is a minimum.
