**Backend Developer - Cloud services**:
**Job description**:
Your missions and responsibilities will include:

- Designing and implementing the backend systems that will support the cloud services.
- Contributing to the integration with third-party quantum marketplaces such as MS Azure for instance.
- Writing structured and documented quality code.
- Collaborating with the Devops team to continuously improve the platform, test and deploy it.
- Making sure that all code pushed to production is correctly monitored and tested.
- Collaborating with the Quantum Software team to efficiently design systems around the features we want to expose.
- Collaborating with the hardware OS team in order to ensure optimal integration of the QPUs (Quantum Processing Units) to the platform.
- Keeping a regular technological watch.
- Having an inventive activity in the scientific and technical fields related to the Company’s research, products, technologies and markets; filing patents.

**Qualification & Experience**:
You own a MS level in computer science, complemented with 2+ years of experience working in a strong engineering environment on a cloud-based product

**Skills**:

- Professional experience in Python and/or Golang.
- Practical professional knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools.
- Creative problem solver.
- Agile cultural experience.
- Able to work independently with limited direction.
- Curiosity and keen interest for new technologies.

English professional proficiency is mandatory to work in PASQAL’s international environment.
