Export Compliance Program Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Refine and implement comprehensive export compliance programs and processes to ensure adherence to international trade regulations.
- Monitor and manage global export activities to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to the European Union (EU), the United States (US), and other applicable jurisdictions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for export compliance issues, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of export compliance processes and procedures to identify and mitigate risks.
- Submit export authorization requests through the French Service des Biens à Double Usage (SBDU) Egide Portal and liaise with regulatory authorities, including the SBDU, the French Agence Nationale de la sécurité des systèmes information (ANSSI), and other export-related entities worldwide.
- Provide training and education to employees on export compliance requirements and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and ensure the company’s export compliance policies are current and effective.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and Sales operations teams to address and resolve export compliance issues.
- Prepare and submit required export compliance documentation and reports to regulatory authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external advisors, industry groups, and government agencies to stay informed of changes in export regulations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business administration, law, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export compliance, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Proven track record of successfully managing export compliance programs and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, including EU and US export controls.
- Experience working with the French SBDU and other export-related entities around the globe.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- **Proficiency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.**

**Credentials and Experience**:

- Experience in conducting export compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with export compliance software and tools.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain operations and logistics.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the technology or defense sectors.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and import/export documentation processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
