The ITER project brings together 35 countries in the construction of the largest Tokamak ever built This fusion device aims to demonstrate that "nuclear fusion" (_replicating the unlimited source of energy that powers the sun and the stars_) can be used as a large-scale, non-C02 emitting energy source to produce electricity. It is a joint project between the European Union, China, India, Japan, South Korea, the Russian Federation and the USA. The ITER project this is: - An experimental installation - The largest thermonuclear fusion facility in the world - A huge construction site based in the South of France (St Paul-Lez-Durance) - Up to 5,000 people employed at the height of construction activity - A multicultural and internationalenvironment - A logístical challenge and extraordinary engineering **Role**: We are looking for a **Junior PMO Engineer** (M/F) for the ITER project. Key duties & responsibilities: - Participate for monitoring, reporting and controlling expenses of the project. - Making sure they remain in line with the Project Forecast and the available budget. - Managing risks & opportunities - Managing contracts with the support of the PMO Team Leader - Risk Management - Control of the estimation of the projected costs, during the implementation of the project - Control of the realized costs (costs of realization of the project, including those of the subcontractors and suppliers) - Control of costs to completion, based on actual costs and estimates of "remaining to be done" - Preparation of the forecast budget - Follow-up of procedures put in place for the control of expenses - Participation of preparation of regular reporting to the management - Identification and analysis of observed deviations or trends that have been initiated - Invoicing expenses to the appropriate entities - Staffing & Workload Management - Reporting on cost/performance indicators for the management & project managers in the assigned perimeter - Detection of overruns - Contract Management (Follow-up, control of costs and contractual deadlines, ) - Monitoring of the contractual indicators of the contract entrusted - Preparation of the monthly project review - Consolidation, drafting and distributing the monthly reports - Participation to negotiations - Preparation of daily contractual support to the project manager **Profil recherché** You graduated from a Master or an Engineer school and have aminimum of 3 years’ experience in a PMO role. An experience in Cost is required for this role. Your interest in Contract Management will be a plus. You speak English fluently. You want to be immersed in an international and multicultural business environment.
