A Day in the Life As a Buyer within one of L'Oréal's dynamic divisions, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring a seamless flow of materials that power some of the world's most iconic beauty brands. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams - Packaging, Development, Supply Chain, and Factories - you'll be instrumental in bringing innovative products to market and optimizing our operations for peak performance. This role is a launchpad for your career, offering significant growth opportunities to develop your expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management. - Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for your assigned portfolio, focusing on cost optimization, quality assurance, and supply chain resilience. Lead negotiations with suppliers, securing favorable terms and conditions while building strong, collaborative relationships. - Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Regularly assess supplier performance and identify opportunities for optimization. - Roadmap Development & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing roadmap for your portfolio, aligning with L'Oréal's strategic objectives and the "L'Oréal for the Future" sustainability commitments. This includes identifying and implementing sustainable sourcing practices. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market trends, benchmark supplier performance, and prepare regular reports on key metrics, including cost analysis, lead times, and quality. Proficient use of Excel and Power BI is essential.
