**The** **Senior **Software Engineer** **Role**

Join Qlik's critical team at the forefront of developing industry-leading Analytics and Data Integration products as a Senior Software Engineer.

You will contribute to build and run a scalable, efficient, observable, and resilient processing platform, hosting mission-critical Data Integration executions for thousands of high-profile customers worldwide. **Here’s how you’ll be making an impact**:

- **
Data Processing Platform** Development**: Design, develop, and maintain our Data Processing Platform services (Java, Go) to support the execution of our customers’ workloads.
- ** Collaborative Development**: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and features, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- ** Code Quality and Documentation**: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in required languages, and implement automated tests for reliability and performance.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Gather feedback from internal and external developers to improve our services continually, staying updated with new technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

**We’re looking for a teammate with**:

- Proficiency in Java, experienced with SpringBoot.
- Familiarity with SpringBoot reactive, or Go, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of container-based deployments on Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment processes (ideally with knowledge of GitOps practices).
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail.
- Preferred: Sensitive to security concerns (best coding practices, auth flows, encryption, CVE tracking).
