**Context**
- Creating new procurement department and culture at group level with 4 affiliates in Africa with new planned acquisitions
- Opening an office in France aimed at the provision of procurement services to support Savannah African Subsidiaries
- The role includes strong interactions with the Operational teams and support to the day-to-day management of contractual activity for projects in Africa.
- Procurement and expediting experience on complex projects is required.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You will lead strategic sourcing throughout the business lifecycle from RFQ submission to Expediting of the goods.

Leading functional contribution to all RFQ
- Leading strategic sourcing for key spend categories.
- Support to affiliate
- 3000 PO lines per year (250 per month)
- Manage procurement at group level with strong focus 1 affiliate
- Reduce importation lead time of the group
- Challenge / Change source of supplies (US sourcing to be reduced to strict minimum and implement /adapt a sourcing from EUROPE)

Objective : 80% sourcing EU and 20% sourcing US
- Being the point of escalation and accountability for key supplier relationships and performance.
- Challenge/Negotiate existing agreements with OEM with innovative proposals (Price - Escalation rate)
- Developing and maintaining long term sourcing strategies aligned to new market and product opportunities Implementation of the new frame agreement with OEMs / Trading House
- Engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading specific short, medium or long term projects and activities as identified, or required, by the business to address key risks and / or opportunities.
- Ensure a fit for purpose and efficient expediting for all order (tracking). Strong SAP MM knowledge is expected
- Receive PR from affiliate + Vendor Assignment + SAP RFQ+SAP PO + SAP GR
- Develop and maintain an efficient expediting Tracker that will feed SAP MM

Regular trip to all affiliated (25% travel time)
