Reporting to the Sales Director, the **Area Sales Manager** is responsible for retaining and developing the customer portfolio entrusted to you, but also to ensure growth by creating and developing new accounts in your territory in line with the company's objectives and global strategy and will be located in** Orléans or Chartres, France.**
**In this role, your responsibilities will be**:
- Product sales under the responsibility of the Area Sales Manager
- Support from the marketing & telemarketing team, product specialists and after-sales service.
- Achieves sales targets for LINX products.
- Organised canvassing of the territory using existing customer references.
- Identifying projects and understanding customer motivations to define Linx's positioning and winning strategy.
- Typical organisation: 2 x 2-hour telephone prospecting sessions and 9 customer meetings per week.
- Use of CRM software (Salesforce) for sales activities.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week (with some nights away from home a month)
- At least 5 years of sales and negotiation experience: comfortable selling industrial products or solutions on a B-to-B basis in highly competitive markets.
- Fluency in professional French is a must and English would be valued
- Experience in a similar or related field would be a plus: packaging, labelling, marking, traceability, vision, barcode reading, automation, weighing, conveyors.
- Proficiency in the various functions of a CRM (SalesForce), fluent use of IT tools (Pack Office).
