Our motto is "now life is easier for everyone" For us this means making life insurance easier to sell, to buy and to trust. iptiQ EMEA is a Luxembourg based insurer with Branches in UK, Ireland, Germany, France and the Netherlands. **About the Role** The Pricing team consists of 15 colleagues based across 6 locations in Europe with expansion plans. We are responsible for the design of life & health products and the setting of customer premiums as well as ongoing monitoring and profitability reviews. As a Pricing Analyst, reporting to the Head of Pricing, you will support technical and actuarial aspects of the relationship with distribution partners in our core European markets. With the support of a wide range of Swiss Re experts, you will help the team grow presence in the EMEA markets, securing new distribution partnerships and building innovative product solutions. You will support all aspects of the pricing and actuarial product development of new protection products. **In this role, you will**: - Analyze business performance of open portfolios - Support the maintenance of our costing basis - Build and develop models and tools to assist with costing processes - Support the pricing process, modelling new products and scenarios and helping prepare auditable documentation - Assist the production of existing business profitability reviews and portfolio analysis - Work with the wider team on ad-hoc analytical projects - Test new systems and products - Assist with business planning and projections - Support other actuarial analysts in the team **We expect you to**: - Have an excellent command of English - our working language - Hold graduate level qualifications in a numerical and analytical field or otherwise demonstrate strong skills in these areas - Have a clear interest in, and understanding of, the insurance market - Be proficient in MS Excel - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills: the ability to communicate complex issues to others in a clear and concise way - Demonstrate accuracy and commitment to quality - Show integrity and consumer awareness. **Advantages**: - Experience in insurance - Experience in R or other programming software - Other European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian or Dutch). **About you** **You are**: - Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills (other main European languages are an advantage) - French language skills are required - Happy in an area that is fluid, developing and fast-moving - Collaborative, engaging and positive - Keen to work independently and collaborate actively with other team members as required especially in a virtual environment - A fast learner able to grasp complex processes and projects. - Hold graduate level qualifications in a numerical and analytical field or otherwise demonstrate strong skills in these areas - Be proficient in MS Excel - Have a strong interest in actuarial work - Demonstrate accuracy and commitment to quality - Be a team player who is passionate about the success of the business and comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving environment - Be self-motivated with an ability to work under pressure. - Able to show integrity and consumer awareness - Enthusiastic about working with international colleagues in a multi-cultural environment - Comfortable handling multiple deliverables and re-prioritization - Committed to quality and accuracy.
