**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Title : Accountant**

**Reports To : Brand Manager Paris**

**General Role**

The role will be a key member of newly set up subsidiary in Paris, France. The Paris team will be composed mostly by international design team plus commercial/showroom team. The accountant shall be a key bridge and communication point between head office and local team with reporting line to Brand Manager Paris, and to support the full administration of Paris subsidiary and to work closely with Paris Studio, Paris Show Room, Shang Xia head office and other relative parties.

**Major responsibilities**:

- Support financial and legal related topics for Paris legal entity, in liaise with headquarter team as well as external professionals such as accounting, audit, legal advisory.
- Finance Accountant supports
- **Expenses review**:

- Vendor management includes, vendor setup in salesforce, vendor inquires, vendor invoice authentication and registration, contract review, and filing.
- Run payment requests through e-bank, make sure the expenditure approval process is followed, and verify the authenticity of the vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment
- Review monthly employee expense reports to ensure the observance of travel policy
- Support Fixed Asset management
- Support the period-end close, includes reporting on bank transaction detail reporting, company card management and reconciliation.
- Support financial accounting process improvements and development and amendment of policies and procedures
- Other local supports & Ad-hoc projects assigned

**Requirements & Capabilities**:

- University degree holder in Finance Business Administration, marketing or related discipline,
- Fluent in French and English. Chinese is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, disposal of commercial experience on business development will be a plus
- Detail oriented, independent, good understanding of multi-cultural working environment.
- Good teamwork esprit and strong ability of communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From 40,000.00€ per year
