We are looking for a Compliance governance Specialist, based in Paris.

**Your Team**
At AGCS our Compliance Department manages the Compliance Management System and Compliance Programs globally, staying abreast of external and internal developments to identify and minimize compliance risks, whilst protecting the interests of the Company.

**The Impact You Will Have**
Reporting to the Regional Head of Legal & Compliance MedA, you will steer and drive the design, implementation and maintenance of Compliance programs and procedureswithin the Med Region (France, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain) in line with AGCS Global Compliance standardss and Group requirements. You will also manage and coordinate compliance reviews and internal/external audits within the Region.

**Some of your specific responsibilities could include**
- Manage and drive the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of global, regional and local Compliance programs and procedures in the Med Region (France, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain). The main compliance topics are anti-money laundering and terrorism (focus on French law), economic sanctions, anti-corruption and support to data privacy topics.
- Manage, coordinate and follow up on compliance reviews conducted on entities in the Med Region. Ensure that compliance reviews related enquiries are handled appropriately and support business in understanding Compliance program related requirements.
- Implement and maintain Compliance programs and procedures within the Med Region, in coordination with the Regional Head of L&C MedA Region and AGCS Global Compliance.
- Ensure compliance related audit (external/internal) and risk assessment findings/issues and requests are handled and mitigated appropriately by setting up an organizational approach to enable follow-ups as well as fast and correct responses.
- Prepare and maintain reporting on Compliance programs for the Region, e.g. to Allianz Group and/or to AGCS Board, in coordination with the Regional Head of L&C MedA Region and AGCS Global Compliance.
- Drive the process of instilling the compliance culture as best practice within the business, ensuring that AGCS as a whole appreciates the role of Compliance and supports it fully.
- Contribute to legal and regulatory change monitoring process, overseeing timely implementation to meet new regulatory requirements, providing regular updates to Global Compliance, and supporting other functions in RLCM and Baselining.

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**
- At least 5-7 years proven Compliance, Audit and/or Risk background, in the insurance industry (any legal experience or training is a benefit)
- Good understanding of internal controls system, processes and methodology and demonstrate thought leadership
- Experience in a matrix environment supporting multiple locations
- You are able to take initiative and resolve problems with a high degree of autonomy
- You are able to steer and manage topics/initiatives with a cross functional view
