Outokumpu in France (Alfortville) is currently looking for an Environment Health Safety & Quality Manager to implement the ESQ policies & standards set by the Group and ensure the successful delivery of tasks within the assigned scope of responsibilities.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Quality**:

- Ensure Quality System Management
- Claims management (anomalies and non-conformities identified by customers and suppliers)
- Ensure the implementation of internal audit programs and regulatory controls
- Relationship management with customers, suppliers, certification and inspection bodies
- Monitor internal Dashboards: Quality KPIs, Quality reports for Management Reviews, Progress plans
- Roll out Training and information to staff about Quality procedures, with good presence at workshop level.

**Hygiene, health & safety at work**:

- Roll out the safety improvement initiatives defined by the group in collaboration with the General Manager
- Carry out regulatory surveillance
- Monitor external Dashboards: Group Safety reporting and tracking of indicators
- Deliver awareness building and training on compliance with safety rules to new employees
- Provide support to the Team leaders and Management on all matters relating to safety
- Co-ordinate internal and external audits. Bring together and supervise the implementation of remedial actions in collaboration with the General Manager
- Provide the interface for external bodies (CRAMIF: health insurance body for the Ile de France region, occupational health )
- Perform and/or update the risk Assessments (“Document Unique”)

**Environment & other**:

- Monitor the effective implementation of Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
- Monitor HSE regulations and standards, create summaries and communicate them
- Ensure reporting on HSE indicators to the Management Team and the group.

**OTHER SKILLS **& COMPETENCIES**
- Minimum BAC +2/3 in Hygiene, Safety and Environment
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Quality and Safety Management, ideally in an industrial, production or logístical environment
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environment regulations and legislation
- Good knowledge of ISO standards
- Good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
- Willingness to work flexibly, both as an individual and as part of a team, to meet the operational demands of the business
- Good analytical skills
- Fluent in French and English languages (verbal & written)

In this role you will report to Jean-Luc Spire, General Manager France, and to Philipp Barth, Manager EHSQ Service Center Operations, as a functional leader.
