**The Opportunity**:

The Manager, Workday Reporting & Analytics leads a highly motivated data management, reporting, dashboarding, and PRISM analytics team under a centrally created Enabling Solutions team for Ally human resources. You will be responsible for working across technology partners and business teams to build a centralized data solutions for our partners. You will be a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills and experience leading a high potential team, with a background in technology and business intelligence. Your responsibilities are centered to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data/BI solutions and capabilities to tackle HR problems. This position will leverage Workday reporting, Workday dashboarding, Workday Discovery boards, and Workday Prism analytics.

**The Work Itself**:

- Ensure the data products are effective in providing accurate, timely, and relevant information to support strategic decision-making
- Responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Workday report developers
- Partner with operational leaders to provide data support and gather requirements to produce insight driven data products
- Lead work using the Agile methodologies and concepts to manage the team’s workload and capacity
- Work as a data product owner to manage sprint deliverables and delivery superior data solutions
- Serve as a Workday Reporting expert who can provide deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, and future data solution direction

**The Skills You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s Degree required in the field of Computer Science, MIS, IT or Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of HCM reporting, analytics, and data warehousing experience
- 5+ years of proven ability building and maintaining Workday HCM Reporting & Analytics
- programming experience in SQL preferred
- Workday Pro Reporting Certification required
- Workday Prism Analytics Certification required
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Experience with relational database concepts
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred
- Experience using JIRA preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies and concepts preferred
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and resolve bugs and/or data-related issues
- Proven experience with team collaboration on projects and meeting rigid timelines
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to articulate complex problems in a simple manner
