Technical Advisor

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Advisor to join our team in Zambia. In this role, you will receive completed oil analysis test results and conduct timely and accurate data entry and diagnosis on assigned jobs. You will be responsible for reviewing records and delivering technical advice to clients on lubricant related investigations and guide the laboratory on suitable parameters that are required for EAC. You will also provide monthly reports on jobs charged, validate test results generated in the laboratory and make weekly proficiency reviews.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
Required Knowledge and Work Experience

**Essential**
- Knowledge in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Knowledge of ISO 17025

**Required Competencies**
- Decision Making, Trouble Shooting, problem solving and Report writing skills.

**Required Work Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fluid Analysis (Oils and Fuels)
- Experience in analytical method development and validation.

**Required Qualifications**
- Advanced diploma or degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
