**The role**
Our team launched a product in Beta in EEA and in the UK and is looking for a payment professional that will bring the product to General Availability of the Issuing product.
The Processing domain is the core domain of our Issuing platform by enabling Checkout to process messages received from the payment networks (MasterCard and VISA decisions). Our mission is to increase the acceptance rate by processing millions of card payments end to end.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive cross-functional leadership between product, engineering and business teams, to bring value to internal and external stakeholders. Our team collaborates closely with them to understand their pain points, drive prioritisation for product development and unlock new financial capabilities.
Our team is responsible for Checkout's issuing products leveraging proprietary technology. We build an outstanding card issuing solution to enable businesses to innovate, move money faster and more easily to generate new revenue streams. We are a strong distributed team of 40+ people
**How you'll make an impact**
- Demonstrate cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, and build a skilled product team that enables bring value to internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain a deep understanding of our clients and prospects pain points, drive prioritization for product development and unlock new capabilities via API.
- Develop product vision and product strategy to build a scalable and configurable processing platform that unlocks value
- Maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with the other product and engineering leaders and ensure alignment with their roadmaps and deliver coherently across the company
- Make sure to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements, and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products
- Synthesize and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications and conduct feasibility studies by analyzing impacts.
- Identify and resolve risk early and support your engineering, design, research, product marketing, and other colleagues in project delivery
**Qualifications**
**What we're looking for**
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, leading end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to release
- Experience working in payment Processing and/or in Issuing domain
- Worked on developer products with a strong experience on back-end products and API development
- Some experience in designing, implementing and optimizing a payment platform or a payment processing system would be great to have
- End-to-end understanding of a transaction lifecycle and knowledge of Card Networks (e.g. MasterCard, Visa)
- You think from the customer perspective and are able to balance future opportunities with immediate needs
- Data-driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
