Solution Architect

Our automotive business is growing rapidly just with existing customers and is at the cusp of hypergrowth based on the multi-billion dollar addressable market.

We are in search of a Solution Architect to craft end-to-end connected car solutions tailored to our automotive customers' unique needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, and Customer Support, you'll exceed customer expectations, drive business growth, and establish our company as a leader in the connected car industry. You will be making a direct impact on the direction of our company when it comes to the exciting connected vehicle space.

**Responsibilities**:
Solution Design and Development
- Analyze customer needs, business processes, and technical limitations to design comprehensive connected car solutions aligned with customer objectives.
- Architect secure, reliable, and scalable end-to-end solutions covering telematics, infotainment, remote diagnostics, OTA updates, vehicle analytics, and other connected car features.

Technical Expertise
- Possess deep knowledge of automotive connectivity protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and wireless standards (e.g., 4G/5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Stay current with the latest automotive tech advancements and industry trends, providing insights for ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to review and validate technical designs, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.

Customer Collaboration
- Act as the primary technical contact for automotive connected car customers throughout projects.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and technical discussions to gather requirements and address customer queries about solution architecture.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customer stakeholders for successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Project Management and Leadership
- Work with Product Managers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables, aligning with customer expectations.
- Provide technical leadership to project teams, guiding them in developing and deploying connected car solutions.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage project timelines to meet deadlines.

Documentation, Training, and Customer Relations
- Build and nurture relationships with customer decision-makers, engineers, and influencers.
- Develop formal training materials to meet customer training needs and conduct training sessions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specs, and technical guides.
- Conduct internal and external training to share knowledge about connected car solutions and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally in the automotive or connected car domain.
- Strong grasp of automotive electronics, embedded systems, and software development.
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and wireless technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to adapt solutions to evolving customer needs.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management experience with a history of successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, data analytics, and automotive cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Certification in relevant automotive or cloud-related technologies is a plus.
